Data matters – what you collect and count gives real-world evidence for campaigning and for holding decision makers to account.
Please join us and help to make our fourth Day of Action the biggest yet!
*If you plan to do your own clean, please send us your data so that they can send it on to national databases. Email us and we will send you a simple form. Here is what info we’ll need from you:

Drop in anytime between 10am and 1pm and give your tired, torn or temperamental items a new lease of life. Every fix keeps something out of landfill, strengthens local know-how, and brings neighbours together.
What we usually offer:
Textile repairs: Zips (bring your own if a replacement is needed), buttons (please bring your own), simple alterations, darning and creative mends.
Small electrical repairs: Radios, headphones, gadgets and other small items.
Bicycle repairs: Bike checks and fixes by Baz from Pickwell Pedals.
Mechanical help: Simple fixes for household or handheld mechanical items also supported by the Braunton Men’s Shed.
All repairs are dependent on volunteer availability. If you’re unsure whether to bring something, please email us at least 48 hours before and we’ll check: info@earthactionnorthdevon.org

Skills sharing:
Their skilled repairers are on hand to share their skills with you to take home - you can learn basic sewing, knitwear patching, visible mending and how to service your bike!
Repairs:
⚙️Sewing machine repairs eg tension adjustment and other small mechanicals
🚲 Basic bike repairs
🧵 General repairs, eg all and sundry - message info@earthrepairshop.org to check if you have a specific query!
👚 Textiles, eg replace zips and buttons (bring your own zips and buttons), simple alterations, visible darning
🧶 Knitting and crochet, wool garments, blankets, toys etc
💍 Basic jewellery repairs, eg twisted jump rings, restringing
However, as they rely on volunteers, they can't always guarantee that all these skills will be available at every event - If you have any questions, email info@earthrepairshop.org at least 48 hours before the event to give them time to respond.
👉Please note:
This is not a professional repair service, so please don’t bring ‘fancy’ repairs like wedding dresses - just drop Earth Repair Shop message if you’re not sure (see above email address).
☕The cafe will be open serving cake and hot drinks, should you wish to purchase, but there is no pressure or expectation to buy.
💸 Donations for the Earth Repair Shop are welcome but not expected.
💚 They’d love it if you could stay whilst they repair your items, Repair Cafes are about building community connection and sharing skills too.
