How to book

Step 1: Check the booking calendar below to see if the minibus is available on the date(s) you are interested in.

Step 2: Email us on info@earthactionnorthdevon.org to request the booking. We will send you the booking contract for you to sign and send back. This will contain important information about the terms of the booking, so please make sure you read it fully.

Step 3: Once your booking is confirmed, arrange fully comprehensive temporary insurance for yourself for the duration of the booking and send us the proof. There are many companies to choose from but we know Veygo will cover 9-seater minibuses.

Step 4: We will invoice you for the cost of the rental - this will be a token amount to help us recover the maintenance costs for the minibus. This invoice needs to be paid before the minibus can be taken.

Step 5: On the day of the booking, come to our office in Braunton (behind Tesco) to collect the key. Keep a record of your starting mileage and percentage charge.

Step 6: At the end of the booking, return the minibus to us, and use the QR code you will find in the minibus to complete the digital log book. Make sure you have charged the minibus back to the same charge percentage that it had when you started your booking and that the minibus is clean and tidy. Drop the keys off to the office either in person or through the letter box if we are closed.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

The minibus may not be used for fare-paying passengers unless you have a private hire licence. If you have a private hire licence, please supply us with proof at the time of your booking, along with proof that your insurance covers you for this purpose.

In order to make the minibus easily available to the next renter, if you don’t return the minibus charged to the same level and/or return it to us in a dirty condition, we will unfortunately need to invoice you for the cost of charging and/or cleaning.
