Water Bar

Our bespoke Water Bar was designed to eliminate the need for single use plastic water bottles at local events and engage event goers in our mission. Since 2018 it has done just that.

People at a booth filling reusable cups with water at an environmental event promoting plastic-free initiatives, with informational banners in the background.
A wooden outdoor sink with a metal faucet, at a plastic free refill station with signs that read 'Re-Fill Here' and 'Plastic Free North Devon'. An orange traffic cone is beside the station.
An outdoor booth with a blue canopy labeled 'Water Bar' promoting filtered water with free refills, featuring chalkboards with handwritten menu details, bottles on a wooden counter, and signs about filtered water at a festival or event.

Water Bar Rentals

Each year 7.7 billion bottles of water are consumed in the UK, of which around 2 billion end up in landfill or the environment. 160 million barrels of oil are used globally to produce and transport these bottles.  This is an unnecessary use of our natural resources and has huge environmental consequences.

Our Water Bar originated as a solution to single use plastic water bottles at local festival Goldcoast Oceanfest in 2018. Since then, we have delivered thousands of litres of filtered water to festival and event goers saving 1000’s of single use plastic water bottles being used across North Devon.

The Water Bar is a great way to engage people in our mission and is a fantastic way to reduce an event's impact.

We have two Water Bars that are available for rent:

  • the larger bar is suitable for larger events where EAND will set it up and usually run it for you - please contact us for details and pricing

  • the small bar will fit into the back of a family car with the seats down, and is available for you to rent without us in attendance for a £50 refundable deposit

We’re also happy to help you build your own Water Bar to help make your events sustainable.

For any of the above, please get in touch.
