Guest speakers from the National Trust & North Devon Biosphere will explain the vital work they are undertaking to help protect our rivers and wetlands

Refreshments will be provided. Please bring you own packed lunch or lunch can be purchased from the National Trust cafe.

The National Trust have kindly offered access to the grounds of Arlington Estate to all attendees of Rise up for Rivers at no additional cost.

Suitable for 14+ years. Any under 18 need to be accompanied with a responsible adult/guardian.

No dogs.

Important things to be aware of:

  • Please come dressed for an outdoor event with sensible footwear, the Education Barn is a repurposed agricultural barn with no heating.

  • Please park in the National Trust car park. Car parking fee apply if you aren't a NT member.

  • Home Farm is a short walk down the road from the car park. DO NOT go to the Arlington Court reception. A member of Taw and Torridge River Champions will be on hand in the car park to meet and great people.

  • There is only ONE basic toilet at the Eduction Barn. Other toilets can be found a 10 minute walk away by the cafe.
