One day. One community. One big clean-up.
Be part of northern Devon’s Day of Action!
31 January 2026
For the past four years, hundreds of people across northern Devon have grabbed a pair of gloves, a bag, and a dose of determination to take part in our Day of Action, a region-wide clean-up day dedicated to making a real, visible difference to the places we love.
Plastic pollution isn’t slowing down. Production is expected to triple by 2060, and plastics are now found in our food, water, and even our bodies. It’s easy to feel powerless, but local, collective action proves otherwise.
The Day of Action is about more than picking up litter. It’s about connection: with each other, with nature, and with the problem itself. When we act together, we spark bigger conversations, about what we buy, how we consume, and how businesses and governments can do better.
Last year, volunteers joined from all over North Devon, collecting hundreds of kilos of waste. This year, we’re going even bigger.
