Day of Action 2026

Be part of North Devon's Day of Action on Saturday 31st January. One day where we show what community action actually looks like. One day where every tiny piece of rubbish counted becomes evidence that informs data, campaigning and policy.

Turn up on the 31 Jan, at one of our organised community cleans, or do your own clean (please see below*) and let us know, and you could win a Dryrobe® or a Hydro Flask*!

For organisations, businesses and schools:

  • Groups/community clubs: organise a clean in your local community on 31 Jan, we’ll supply gear & guidance.

  • Schools & businesses: run your clean during the week leading up (Mon 26–Fri 30 Jan) so your community can still take part within your working hours.

  • Drop us a line for details.

Data matters – what you collect and count gives real-world evidence for campaigning and for holding decision makers to account.

Please join us and help to make our fourth Day of Action the biggest yet!

*If you plan to do your own clean, please send us your data so that they can send it on to national databases. Email us and we will send you a simple form. Here is what info we’ll need from you:

  • How many KGs of waste you collected

  • How many people took part

  • How many plastic bottles collected

  • How many coffee cups collected

  • The most unusual find collected

*FREE PRIZE DRAW:

Win a Dryrobe® or a Hydro Flask!

Attending one of the above cleans? Send us a cool photo of yourself cleaning-up on the day along with the clean details.

Doing your own clean? Send us a cool photo of yourself at the clean, along with the location, how many bags of rubbish were collected, how many KGs of waste collected.
