Tarka Trail & Estuary Clean Up 2025
Businesses Wanted: Join Us for the 2025 Tarka Trail & Estuary Clean-Upโจ
๐ Friday 26th September | ๐งน World Clean-Up Day Action | ๐ North Devon
Weโre gearing up once again for our annual Tarka Trail & Estuary Clean-Up and weโre inviting local businesses and organisations to step forward and take part in a one-day collective effort to tidy up one of North Devonโs most well-loved public spaces.
Taking place on Friday 26th September 2025 as part of World Clean-Up Day, this event is a chance for teams to come together, get outside, and give backโall while making a visible difference in the community.
A Day for Doing Good
This event is designed for CSR days, team building or company-wide environmental pledges. Whether you're a small team or a large organisation, we can help you take on a manageable section of the trail and estuary with full support from usโincluding kits, guidance, and light coordination.
Itโs a fantastic way to:
Strengthen team connection
Demonstrate your company values in action
Take part in a global movement for cleaner, healthier spaces
Ready to Get Involved?
Weโd love to hear from local businesses and organisations whoโd like to take part in this yearโs clean-up. Whether youโve joined us before or are new to the event, weโll make it easy to get involved.
We're also offering a flexible sponsorship package which includes: the Tarka Trail & Estuary Clean Up in September, our Day of Action in January, and our ongoing community cleans throughout the year.

2024 in Numbers
Last yearโs clean-up was a huge success, with:
100 volunteers
From 12 local businesses and organisations
Collecting over 650kg of rubbish
Along 10.6 miles of trail and estuary edge between Chivenor and Bideford
Among the mix: a bike wheel, garden fork, three Crocs (yes, the shoes), a car stereo and, unsurprisingly, heaps of plastic bottles, cans, and fishing debris.
Letโs make 2025 our biggest and boldest clean-up yet and show what North Devonโs business community can achieve together.
